Flashcards and drills
Every card from every page in one deck. Say the answer out loud before you flip.
Ten minutes a day is enough. Use the arrow keys to move, Space to flip.
How to use this
- Pick a deck, or leave it on All.
- Read the question and answer it aloud, as if the interviewer asked it.
- Flip. If your answer was shaky, press "Review again".
- Next day, turn on "Only cards to review" and clear that pile first.
The out-loud drill
Cards test recall. This drill tests delivery. Set a timer and do one block per day.
| Block | What you do | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Warm up | Say your 60-second intro from the Game plan page. Record it once a day and listen back. | 2 min |
| Two stories | Pick two principles at random. Tell the matching story in STAR form, under three minutes each, with a number in the result. | 8 min |
| One concept | Pick any unchecked concept. Explain it in the ladder order: problem, picture, plain words, term, Beacon. | 3 min |
| One sketch | Pick a design scenario. Draw it from memory on paper in five minutes, then compare with the page. | 7 min |
